Happy First Day of Spring Everybody,
This is our first newsletter for the 2021 season. We will be sending an update once a week for the entire season. The content will range from need-to-know info, farm updates, recipes, photos, details on the box contents, and more.
We are excited to announce our Ann Arbor pick-up location!
CSA Member pick-ups will be at 2309 Packard St., Ann Arbor 48104 – this is the Genesis of Ann Arbor facility (aka Temple Beth Emeth & St.Clare’s Episcopal Church).
Pickups will be on Saturdays from 2:30-5:30 PM in the circle drive, at the front, facing Packard.
We will be following CDC guidelines and practicing safe social distancing with masks on and an organized and clean process for drive-thru pickups. We will update as the summer progresses.
Here is the detail of timelines for membership shares as listed on our website:
The 20 week CSA: This option is to receive produce during the middle months of the Michigan local produce season (~ July through October). You will get lots of summer veggies as well as plenty of autumn and storage veggies.
The 26 week CSA: This option is to receive produce for half of the year (~ mid-May through early November). You will get many spring, summer as well as autumn, and storage veggies.
The 30 week CSA: This option is to receive produce from the Spring through the Fall (~ early May into December.) You will get the earliest of spring veggies, all of the summer veggies, and additional autumn and storage veggies.
If you’d like to extend your membership to include more weeks, or want to start earlier than what is listed but not add weeks, we are here to help – just send us an email with your request. * Note the 30-week share can not start earlier due to seasonality.
As the Spring progresses we will be communicating exact dates of when each share package starts, and expect it will be within the range listed.
