Hi Everyone,
CSA members pick up shares on Saturday between 2:30 and 5:30 at Genesis of Ann Arbor (Temple Beth Emeth/St Clare’s Episcopal Church) 2309 Packard Ann Arbor, MI. We will be in the front circle drive this weekend, and looking forward to seeing everybody.
We will be skipping CSA share distribution next week– no shares July 3rd!
The weekly share schedule will be extended accordingly so that each share duration receives the correct amount of weeks across the season as a whole, of course
This week’s small box shares contain the following items – cooking tips posted separately:
· Braising Greens Mix {Red Mustards, Purple Kale, Kholrabi Greens} (1 bag) from our farm
· Garlic Scapes (1 bag) – from our farm
· Fresh Flowering Thyme (1 bunch) – from our farm
· Red Beets with Greens (1 bunch) – from Cinzori Farm of Ceresco
· Cabbage (1 large head) – from Cinzori Farm of Ceresco
· Sugar Snap Peas (1 pint) from Cinzori Farm of Ceresco
Medium boxes contain an extra bunch of beets, extra head of cabbage, and an extra pint of sugar snap peas
Looking ahead – After the holiday break we will have lots of basils and other herbs, fresh garlic starting, big bunches of greens, and new potatoes (maybe a bit later in July) from our farm, along with summer squashes and cucumbers among an ever-changing variety from Cinzori Farm, along with fresh microgreens from Gardenworks.
