Hi Everyone,
We just finished packing the shares for tomorrow’s CSA distribution, 30 week share members will receive a share tomorrow. 26-week shares begin May 15th, and 20-week shares begin May 29th. For this week and next week, we will be home delivering the shares rather than having members pick up their boxes. We are sending text messages only to 30-week share members this evening. If you don’t receive a text by 9:30 PM, please text us immediately at 831.706.1237.
We are excited to that the season is actually beginning and look forward to sharing the bounty with CSA members weekly.
This week’s small box shares contain the following items:
· Green Garlic (1 dozen) – from our farm
· Leeks (4) – from our farm
· Thyme (1 bag) – from our farm
· Pea Shoots – from Gardenworks of Ann Arbor
· Spinach (1 bag) – from Cinzori Farms of Ceresco
· Collard Greens (1 bunch) – from Cinzori Farms of Ceresco
· Popping Corn (4 ears) – from Cinzori Farms of Ceresco
· Fuji Apples (4 apples) – from Plymouth Orchards of Plymouth
Medium boxes contain an extra dozen Green Garlic, extra 4 Leeks, extra bag of Thyme, extra (4) Popping Corn, extra (4) Fuji Apples
This weekend and the coming week are major planting weeks for us, we will share more details in next week’s newsletter.
